How To Cast Out Devils There is an idea that devils can inhabit a human and afflict that human with illness, dangerous ideas and beliefs, or insanity. Yet when we examine the word underlying the term “possessed with devils” we find that demonizomai, is a misapplication of a Hebraic and Aramaic concept of human struggles. In this discussion on How To Cast Out Devils, we learn that a devil is simply an issue of human proportions and not supernatural phenomenology. A devil is a false religious belief or idea, an illness, an opposing human force, a self-inflicted disease or disorder, a harmful state of physical or mental wellness. A devil is that which is against truth and health and may affect the mind or body in a negative way. .

When Jesus descended to Hell what did He do there? It has oft been claimed that Jesus died and upon being placed in his tomb, actually went down to hell and preached the gospel to souls who were already burning in the torturous Lake of Fire. But what does it mean to be descended to Hell? Is it possible Jesus's time in Hell simply meant he was dead in the tomb? In this brief discussion about Jesus descending to Hell we learn how Hell came from the Hebrew word for Sheol. To be in Hell did not mean being in a sulfurous underbelly of the earth where Satan is the head administrator. Jesus/Yeshua actually spent tine in the heart of the earth, in a tomb of dirt and rock. And this is just as the word Hell would have been understood by the earliest believers of the Messiah and the Ancient Hebrews who built the framework for all believers to follow.
Making sense of Satan is simple. You just have to follow the theme of evil throughout the Bible. You just have to know that the serpent in the garden is a reference to the evil and clever inclination in man. You just have to know that the word Satan as seen in Numbers is the Hebrew word sawtawn and refers to a human adversary. You just have to know how the satan themes in Isaiah, Ezekiel, Job, Zechariah, Amos, 2nd Samuel , 1st Chronicles and the New Testament references by Jesus and Paul, all show that evil and man's desire for deception comes from one place...it all comes from men. We just have to know that Jeremiah informs that our heart is the most evil thing in existence...thus limiting the possibility for there to be a literal supernatural Satan who is supposedly the most evil thing in the universe according to Christendom's take on the Old Scratch. The spiritual warfare Passage in Ephesians 6 has been long thought to be telling us we are battling a cosmic entity. It does tell us what the devil's Wiles are. But what it also tells us is what the principalities, powers, and spiritual wickedness in high places are. These are all elements found every day in our lives. They are the leaders and religious institutions that have long led people's thoughts. the "Powers" is the power we have to choose what we believe and how we choose to express that. The darkened site of humanity is the darkness that refuses to see through the erroneous ideology that has crept into the religion of the Messiah and his apostles. When looking at who and what Satan is, we get the chance to find out one piece of the puzzle by seeing God is referred to as Satan in two accounts of the same story. Take a look at 2nd Samuel 24 v 1 and 1 Chronicles 21 v 1 . In the first account we find that God is the one who incited David to do something that results in harm while in the other account we are told that Satan is the one who provoked David. Which is it? God or Satan? Or, is it possible that because the Hebrew term for an adversary is sawtawn and therefore.....God is Satan?....Because God performs what is adverse to David.
